SRC Announces New Government Affairs Manager

Syracuse, NY, December 5, 2007 – Syracuse Research Corporation has announced the addition of Jessica Crawford as Government Affairs Manager. In this position, Crawford will be responsible for managing federal, state, and local government affairs, as well as all legislative activities for SRC’s family of companies.

Crawford comes to SRC with eight years experience in government relations, having most recently served as the External Relations Manager for O’Brien & Gere’s marketing and communications department. There, she focused her efforts on government relations, branding, grant opportunities, and other external activities. Before joining O’Brien & Gere, Crawford represented Syracuse University in the community, planning activities at various government levels.

Crawford holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in economics and policy studies, both from Syracuse University. She is also very active in the community, having served as a founding chair and currently a Steering Committee member of 40 Below; board member of Housing Visions Unlimited; and member of United Way Gifts Cabinet.

SRCTec Achieves ISO 9001 Quality Management
System Certification

Syracuse, NY, May 9, 2007 – SRCTec Inc. announced today that its Quality Management System has been registered for certification to the ISO 9001:2000 by NSF International Strategic Registrations.

SRCTec Inc. Wins Contract from Army for $63.9M

SYRACUSE, NY, February 14, 2007 – The U.S. Army announced Friday that it has awarded SRCTec Inc., a subsidiary of Syracuse Research Corp., a $63.9 million contract to make amplifiers, filters and antennas.

The delivery contract is part of an $831.5 million ongoing contract to make devices that detect and jam roadside bombs, a leading cause of casualties in Iraq.
